I am boring...but water. lol or coffee...

hm..chicken and sausage gumbo is one...and Shepard's pie is the other.
{3} Is there a dish that you make that people request when they visit your home/a family favorite?
strangely enough, shepard's pie. lol. i have a friend who sends her son to me to eat his veggies that way!
{4} What are 3 foods you have TRIED, do not like and will NEVER eat again?
mushrooms (highly allergic), seafood (yeah i'm cajun, no i don't eat seafood. what?!?), and pork (allergic)

well, when we were growing up, we used to mush up our meatloaf and mix it together with our mashed potatos and peas...i did this after i got married, and my hubby was all "omg, that is AWFUL!"

What is shepherd's pie?
I'll have to google it.
I've never had shepherd's pie. Not sure why probably the whole can't wrap my head around lamb thing.
I love gumbo- but not seafood. Even having lived in Cajun Country for 10 years.
obviously i'll be doing a shepards pie post shortly! i don't use lamb, so theres that...look for it soon!
You are the second Cajun I've run into that doesn't like seafood. I just tried my first crawfish last summer. It was ok. Not sold on it, but yeah.
That is the only way to eat meatloaf!
i mash up my meatloaf and masshers too...that's how i have always eaten it...yummers!!
i also love shepards pie, as long as it is beef and not lamb. ;)

lol sheperds pie reminds me of the ladies at church. whenever there is a crisis they show up with a pie :) and my hubs does the SAME thing with his meatloaf!! i'll never understand it!! thanks for playing along!
