so, I'm following along with 31 days to build a better blog. today's assignment is to make a list post. now, i love lists. in fact, i have a list notebook. really, ask mm, he'll tell ya. my list notebook is referred to as "mom's brain"....no lie. so, for a moment, let's pretend this blog is "mom's brain"...haha, now you're in my brain, scary huh?
so in trying to decide what list to make, i thought i'd share my list of my top five ways to enjoy cleaning.

yes she did.
So i stay at home right? a stay at home, homeschooling mom...who blogs, and sells on etsy...and helps her hubby with his business. my JOB is keeping my home. now, if you're a long time follower, you know my secret shame is my crummy home keeping...but here are the ways to keep it fun:
5) Make a game of it. Remember being 5, when you could pretend that you were anyone in the world? well, now, i'm all grown up, and play pretend with the children...and it works!
4) Set a timer. yup. Flylady says you can do anything for 15 minutes. that is SO true! In fact, you could combine number five with number four and have lots of fun!
3) Dance while you work. remember the lil song "whistle while you work?" Well, I can't whistle, but I totally can dance. or, at least in my mind i can dance. ha!
2) Reward yourself for a job done. Especially for a job well done!
and my number one tip...
1) MUSIC! Put on your favorite music, and sing as loud as you can! It totally makes the day go faster!

Fun list! I agree with you on setting a timer and cleaning to music! It makes it go by so much faster. I set a timer for pretty much everything I do, actually. 30 minutes of computer time, then 30 minutes of cleaning, etc. It's the only way I get things done!
