pizza...i want PIZZA!!! and a GIVEAWAY!

I love pizza. I think most of America loves pizza, right? So when I was contacted by Freschetta, to try a new product, i jumped at the chance. (well, enthusiastically typed yes, but whatev!) The new product is FRESCHETTA® By the Slice and it is good stuff!

There are four different flavors. BBQ recipe chicken, Vegetable medley, chicken, spinach, and mushroom, and lastly, six cheese medley.

Now, you long time friends and readers know that I'm allergic to mushrooms, so I chose the BBQ chicken pizza. I don't have a microwave, but I DO have a toaster oven. There are instructions for both, so I used the directions for the oven. In less than 20 minutes, i had a piping hot, ginormous slice of BBQ chicken pizza to enjoy. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how the pizza tasted. The crust was crispy, the meat was hot, and the flavor was incredible. I will say that I would have preferred the onions to be softer, as well as the peppers, but even when i picked them off, the flavor was still in there...and was delicious! Being able to have one slice of pizza vs. a whole pizza is definately a plus too! I don't eat a whole pizza...and the one slice was just the right amount!

an honor from a friend and sad news...all in one lovely post with pictures!

My friend Dee over at Homesick Cajun gave me this award! She is one of my favorite people...even if I've never met here in "real" life. lol. a fellow cajun, far from home, she's got humor and style...and class. ;)

as part of receiving the award, i'm supposed to tell you seven things you don't know about me...hm. this could be hard.

1. I didn't drink a sip of alcohol until after i turned 21. true fact yo!

2. My life is easier with five girls than it was when i had only two. True story! They do the laundry baby!!!

3. My fleur de lis habit was a complete accident. true, really. i commented that i like 1 fleur, and then people started giving them to me. Now, I have a fleur factory! lol...check this out...

4. My children love the Beverly Hilbillies. yeah...funny huh?

5. I cut my children's hair. It's all short and cutsie now...and I did it all by myself!

6. I am an efficient packer. We pack lots b/c of the SCA...and i can do it in three bags for a weekend...and THAT is with medieval clothes! lol

7. I love to swim. Not a big fan of the ocean, but a pool is my favorite place!

now, i'm supposed to pass this on to 15 of my favorite blogs. Not sure i can come up with that many! lol Here we go.

Occasionally. at Curves. then i promptly forget!

hm...no idea. anything slimy. ick!

either is good for me!

sure. don't we all? i have this completely irrational fear that someone will break in my home....i'm totally paranoid about it!

5. do you play an instrument?

i can play piano. not well, but i can...

6. would you rather be bitten by a snake or attacked by a bear?

neither? well, depends. will walker, texas ranger be with me?

7. do you ever go braless in public?

uh, no. i don't even go braless in my house! these puppies are too heavy!

8. today i am thankful for........................?

getting out of bed all by myself. in pain today, ty fibro, and still got up without help!

Prefenz!

have you guys heard about prefense? This is a new product. There are so many hand sanitizers out there, and i worry about using them with the children...however, this product is wonderful! There is no alcohol, so I don't worry about the children using it! It dries quickly, and I found that there was little to no smell after application. I truly love this product!
